  • End-to-End Payroll Processing: Collaborate with external payroll vendors and local teams to execute, calculate, and review employee payouts, payment requests, and overall payroll cycles accurately and on schedule.

  • Audit & SOX Compliance: Support internal and external audits (including SOX and CAD audit controls) by providing accurate documentation, explaining payroll processes, and ensuring full regulatory alignment.

  • Tax & Social Security Calculations: Perform and validate local payroll tax calculations, Social Security contributions, and statutory deductions in compliance with local labor legislation.

  • Timekeeping & Incident Management: Process, audit, and validate timekeeping data, performing periodic timesheet reconciliations and executing root-cause analyses on errors to implement corrective/preventive actions.

  • Stakeholder & HR Inquiry Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and HR partners, delivering high-quality customer service to resolve payroll-related inquiries, incidents, and reporting requests promptly.

  • Management Reporting & Data Integrity: Generate accurate financial and payroll reports for key company stakeholders while maintaining strict confidentiality and data integrity across systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.

  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of direct experience as a Payroll Processor, Payroll Analyst, or in a similar corporate payroll function.

  • Technical Mastery:

    • Solid, practical knowledge of local labor taxes, Social Security frameworks, and incident tracking.

  • Languages: Advanced English proficiency is mandatory (required for direct interactions with international auditors, global HR teams, and corporate management).

Desired Qualifications

  • Core Competencies: High level of confidentiality, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong work ethic with proven time management under tight deadlines.
  • Audit Confidence: Comfortable interacting directly with auditors without intimidation, maintaining a clear and structured presentation of payroll records.

  • Customer Service Mindset: Genuine enjoyment and skill in interacting with people, addressing employee concerns empathetically and professionally.

  • Advanced Automation: Experience creating and using Excel Macros (VBA) or automated spreadsheets to streamline reporting.
