GTN Deduction Analyst
Location: Mexico City
 
 

Role Summary
 
As a GTN Deduction Analyst reporting to the Credit to Cash Jr Team Lead, you will serve as the financial pulse of our commercial deduction and resolution process, driving financial integrity and optimizing trade operations. In this role, you will monitor key commercial deductions, lead month-end performance reviews, and foster cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Finance, and Credit-to-Cash (C2C) teams. By identifying root causes and championing process automation, you will directly safeguard profitability and enhance customer partnerships across the organization.
 
 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve commercial deductions including promotions, pricing, returns, and post-audits while leading month-end performance reviews and closing meetings.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Development, Local Finance, and Credit-to-Cash teams to resolve past-due balances, address credit holds, and secure repayments.
  • Drive continuous improvement by mapping processes and leveraging automation, such as Robotics Process Automation (RPA), to simplify and standardize workflows.
  • Analyze customer logistics, vendor compliance, and payment history to identify deduction root causes and implement corrective action plans.
  • Enforce internal control strategies for the 3-way matching process, ensuring strict adherence to financial policies and risk mitigation.

 

 

Required Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, or Deduction Management.
  • Demonstrated experience with trade spend, 3-way matching processes, and financial dispute resolution in a commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to navigate ERP financial systems and customer portals for data analysis and tracking.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Experience implementing process automation, scripting, or RPA tools.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of customer logistics analysis and C2C workflow design.
