GTN Deduction Analyst

Location: Mexico city 

 

 

As a GTN Deduction Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding organizational financial integrity by actively auditing, managing, and resolving commercial deductions across pricing, promotions, damages, and post-audits. Sitting at the intersection of Finance and Commercial operations, this position drives end-to-end deduction management, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Credit to Cash (C2C), Customer Development, and Local Finance teams. In this role, you will help optimize working capital, minimize bad debt risk, and champion continuous process improvements—including automation and standardization—that directly support operational excellence.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, review, and resolve commercial deduction open items while executing end-to-end dispute management and customer payment recoveries.

  • Lead month-end close activities by evaluating KPI performance, presenting dispute analytics, and mitigating bad debt and P&L exposure.

  • Partner cross-functionally with C2C, Commercial CDT, and Local Finance teams to streamline workflows, enforce internal controls, and align on customer strategies.

  • Conduct root-cause analyses on vendor compliance, shortages, and recurring deductions to implement corrective action plans.

  • Drive operational efficiency by participating in continuous improvement initiatives, process mapping, and automation projects (RPA/BOTs) to simplify C2C processes.

 

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Credit to Cash (C2C) processes

  • Professional fluency in spoken and written English

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and customer payment portals

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, process mapping, or automation tools (RPA)

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
