Position: Merchandising Supervisor

Job  Location: Curitiba, PR, BRA

Role Summary

Team Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the performance of merchandising promoters and stockers based on the planning and optimization of the team's visit routes. Monitor product turnover, avoid stockouts, and ensure the FIFO/FEFO system to guarantee maximum coverage, efficiency, and brand execution at the points of sale.

Main Responsibilities: 

  •  Plan and optimize the team's visit routes to ensure maximum coverage and efficiency at the points of sale, guaranteeing the fast and correct launch of innovations, seasonalities, and promotional campaigns.
  •  Business Reviews: Collect field information (competitor prices, promotional actions, execution photos) and generate performance reports for management.
  • Commercial & Project Management: Negotiate at the POS by building relationships with store managers and buyers to secure extra placements (gondola ends, islands, wing displays) and resolve conflicts.
  •  Customer Engagement: Audit stores to ensure that layout, pricing, share of shelf, and the use of POS materials (POSM) follow the brand's execution guide.
  • Financial Analysis & Volume Control: Monitor product turnover, avoid stockouts (lack of product), and ensure the FIFO/FEFO (First In, First Out) system to avoid expired products.

Required Qualifications 

  • Education: Education: Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or related fields.
  •  Experience: Previous experience in the commercial/merchandising area (preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods segment - FMCG) and team leadership. 
  • Technical Skills: Command of the Office Suite and Google tools.
  •  Familiarity with POS management software or applications.
  •  Mobility: Possess an active driver's license (CNH) B  and availability to travel between stores.
