In today's dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Customer Development team at Colgate. Our highly energetic and focused Central America Customer Team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive and for our Distributors in this ever-changing landscape. What role will you play as a member of the Customer Development team? As the Customer Development Blue Jacket (Sales Representative for Distributors), you will be a primary support in achieving sales goals through relationship management. You'll support execution of plans in the point of sales and search for customer input so we can build growth through increased market share and financial return.



What you will do

 

  • Carry out the work plans by route and the implementation of the 5'p in the field.
  • Work together with the distributor's sales force to meet the sales objective.
  • Analyze sales and distribution results to assess compliance with objectives.
  • Advise customers and visit them to monitor that they are served by the distributor's salesperson.
  • Meet the requirements and needs of customers, coordinating the proper functioning of the channels.
  • Find new customers and coordinate the opening of new routes.
  • Supervise and control the activities of distribution, sales, promotional and inventory control and rotation of customer products.
  • Monitor and report on the activities of the competition and suggest action plans.
  • Coach and train dealer salespeople to obtain expected results and customer service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering
  • At least 1 year of sales or sales supervisory experience.
  • Driver's license Upon Hire
