Job Summary:
- Lead Insights planning, execution and activation for key brands/segments within the CP Enterprise Oral Care portfolio, covering Oral Care products for Tom’s of Maine, hello products, and the Colgate Toothbrush portfolio
- Showcase category expertise and thought leadership to elevate impact and growth opportunities
- Drive a people-centric centric approach to Marketing within the North America organization through strategic, innovation and commercial priorities
Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning, analysis and insights activation of best-in-class strategic research to uncover foundational and groundbreaking knowledge around business needs for Tom’s, hello, and the Colgate Toothbrush portfolio
- Develop broader views of the category and cohorts beyond projects to a champion a Challenger Brands mindset for brand and product development for Tom’s and hello, driving outsized growth for these brands
Prioritize and drive activation against foundational category and existing brand learning to influence innovation and base business efforts for brand building and category growth - Promote experimentation and innovation in non-traditional insights generation approaches to uncover emerging human trends that drive better brand decision making
- Be the "Voice of the Human" that champions human, consumer, shopper, and customer trends, attitudes and behaviors throughout the organization
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in research, ideally in CPG or with a focus on challenger brands, brand strategy, innovation and communication
Bachelor’s degree required - Strong foundational knowledge of research tools and techniques, with a particular focus on both digital and agile research platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS or MBA preferred
- Drive to identify opportunities where insights can add value to the organization and see them through to action
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into an actionable narrative, with a clear link to business implications
- Extensive experience in presenting to stakeholders across levels of organizational experience
- Strong business acumen across both brand and commercial understanding
- Ability to manage through ambiguity in business needs and research approach
- Collaborative problem solving skills and demonstrated cross-functional teamwork experience
- Ability to challenge the status quo to negotiate and influence stakeholder decision-making
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $155,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
