The Manager Global Apps M&A is the engine room of the operation, translating executive strategy into a tactical execution plan. This role oversees the day-to-day execution of IT integration projects for mergers and acquisitions. The successful candidate will liaise with Global M&A teams to manage projects to ensure seamless transitions, consolidate applications, and maintain strict compliance with Colgate-Palmolive’s Code of Conduct and global policies.

What you'll do

M&A Strategy & Integration

  • Project Leadership: Act as the Single Point of Contact from GIT with Global M&A teams and Project Leadership (including Business leads from Supply chain, Quality, Finance, Customer development).

  • Roadmap Execution: Develop and lead the technical "Day 1" (connectivity/login/email) and "Day 100" (full integration) roadmaps. Maintain the M&A Playbook and keep it current.

  • Due Diligence & Compliance: Participate in the due diligence process to evaluate IT assets, liabilities, and current software provider contracts of target companies. Identify technical debts, cybersecurity risks, or potential conflicts of interest that could impact valuation.

  • Workstream Orchestration: Manage technical workstreams including Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Collaboration, and Telephony. Coordinate Site Discovery audits and standardise IT policies and compliance across newly acquired global offices.

  • Financial: Manage the IT integration budget; track synergy captures (cost savings) and one-time integration costs.

  • TSA Oversight: Monitor Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) to ensure acquired companies hit exit milestones and sellers provide necessary handover support.

Contract, Vendor & Third-Party Management

  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the Global IT contracts approval process, including implementing a Contract Lifecycle Management application and using e-signature solutions.

  • IT Budgets: Actively contribute to IT budget planning, allocation, and financial tracking. Track and report on budget utilization and forecast future financial needs.

  • Ethical Dealings: Ensure all vendors and suppliers adhere to Colgate’s Third Party Code of Conduct

Application Lifecycle

  • Asset Management: Liaise with the Software Asset Management team to manage applications globally.  Support remediation plans to integrate or decommission IT applications while maintaining data integrity

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration with a solid background in financial planning. PMP certification is highly preferred.

  • Experience: 7+ years in IT Program/Project Management or IT management. Minimum of 3 years in contracts management and application lifecycle management, with 2–4 years preferred in M&A/Divestitures.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management applications, e-signature solutions, and managing cloud environments or identity management.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
