Role Summary

Colgate-Palmolive is an innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for people, pets, and the planet. As our digital channels—including colgagatepalmolive.com and social media—are often the first point of contact for our audiences, this role is critical to shaping our corporate narrative.

Reporting to the Director of Digital & Design, you will lead the strategy and execution of our corporate social and digital presence. You will drive brand storytelling through original content franchises, creator partnerships, executive thought leadership, and innovative platforms.

We are seeking a builder and operator to identify growth opportunities, launch new content channels, and integrate emerging capabilities—such as AI-assisted content, AEO, and creator marketing—into our corporate function. You will serve as the Center of Excellence for social practice, driving enterprise reputation, employee engagement, and business growth across global divisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media & Content Strategy

    • Drive audience growth and engagement across key channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) by establishing and continually optimizing corporate social strategy.

    • Lead end-to-end original campaigns that balance always-on content, real-time activations, and tentpole corporate storytelling initiatives.

    • Steer high-impact video initiatives with internal teams and external creative vendors to humanize key business priorities.

    • Direct creator and influencer partnerships from brief through talent vetting and campaign execution in tandem with the Digital Media Specialist.

    • Ensure editorial quality, brand consistency, and accuracy across all corporate social channels.

    • Amplify brand narrative through strategic alliances with external partner organizations, publishers, and platforms.

    • Guide global social teams on platform shifts, algorithm changes, and channel efficiency best practices.

  • Website & Digital Stewardship (colgatepalmolive.com)

    • Oversee the corporate website to maintain high-performing digital standards, robust editorial governance, and operational excellence.

    • Optimize site SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) to maximize discoverability across traditional search and AI/LLM answer engines.

    • Align cross-functional content priorities and oversee web updates with Web Operations, IT, Marketing, Accessibility, and BEX teams.

  • Analytics, Tools & Operations

    • Develop performance measurement frameworks and benchmarks to demonstrate business impact across digital touchpoints.

    • Leverage social listening, analytics, and AI tooling stacks to turn performance data into actionable strategic insights.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 6 years of professional experience building and managing content strategies or campaigns from the ground up

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Platform Expertise: Deep fluency in LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube (including native video and editorial nuances)

  • Digital & Search Strategy: Expert working knowledge of SEO, AEO/LLM search behavior, and supporting content structures

  • Content Production & Management: Proven experience in editorial production, digital best practices, podcast/episodic video, and brokering content partnerships.

  • Operations & Tools: Hands-on experience with social listening (e.g., Meltwater, Emplifi), analytics, project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com), and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.

  • AI & Emerging Tech: Practical fluency with generative AI for content development, research, and analysis, with strong judgment on ethical and effective application.

  • Stakeholder & Vendor Relations: Success managing agencies, production partners, and creator talent (including budgets, compliance, and FTC disclosure); comfort counseling senior executives.

  • Reputation Management: Familiarity with corporate reputation, sustainability, purpose communications, and crisis/issues management.
