Manager, Business Intelligence (North America)

The Role: This role is a pivotal part of the North America Commercial Analytics team, responsible for advancing analytic capabilities that enable stronger business performance. You will play a key role in scaling data-driven decision-making, helping the organization leverage data as a core strategic asset.

Specifically, you will champion Holistic Commercial Growth by moving beyond channel silos. You will analyze data seamlessly through both digital and physical store lenses to enable Retail Excellence and Brand Health. By providing a unified view of our business, you will empower our Commercial teams to anticipate market trends and adapt execution to capture demand everywhere our shoppers are.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Commercial Performance: Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to identify growth opportunities across the total commercial landscape (Brick & Mortar + E-Commerce), while owning the tracking and reporting of key commercial objectives and KPIs to ensure alignment with broader business goals.

  • Deliver Actionable Insights: Lead the analysis for ad-hoc and monthly business reviews, providing recommendations on market trends and performance gaps. You will navigate between retail metrics (e.g., Sales, Distribution, ACV) and consumer metrics (e.g., Penetration, Buy Rate) to tell a comprehensive business story.

  • Manage Business Services Team: Manage the workload and prioritization of backend/frontend support teams. You will provide the clear vision and requirements needed for these partners.

  • Leverage the Data Ecosystem: Expertly utilize an abundance of data sources—including Syndicated Data, Shopper Panel, Digital Shelf, and Retailer POS Data—to create cohesive visualizations of Total Account and Brand Performance.

  • Capability & Tools Building: Support the development of faster, automated reporting tools and scorecards that allow the organization to self-serve insights, freeing up time for strategic planning.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work as a bridge between Analytics, Insights, Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to ensure a consistent, harmonized view of the business.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years supporting Business Intelligence or Analytical roles within CPG or Retail.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Commercial Fluency: Experience navigating both retailer execution metrics (POS, Inventory, Distribution) and brand health metrics (Consumer behavior, Share). Ability to connect the dots between the two.

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in visualization tools (DOMO, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI) and data storytelling.

  • Retailer & Data Knowledge: Experience working with large datasets such as Syndicated (Nielsen/Circana), Panel (Numerator), or Retailer POS Data is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Python.

  • Productivity Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

  • Mindset & Culture: Demonstrate curiosity, have a growth mindset and a can-do attitude.

  • Communication & Impact: Leverage strong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
