Role Summary
In this role the Audience & Segmentation Manager drives superior business outcomes by elevating targeting precision and maximizing advertising impact. This role is responsible for the end-to-end design and activation of audience strategies across the Colgate brand portfolio and Colgate OC Professionals.
The selected candidate should be confident and experienced in working with large data sets and marketing technology platforms. You are expected to exhibit analytical rigor, thought leadership, and clear communication as well as be capable of optimizing current efforts and bringing new insights through a mixture of innovation and broad, creative thinking.
Responsibilities
Framework Development & Precision Targeting

Architect & Scale: Develop, maintain, and refresh frameworks and methodologies for precision audience targeting in media across North America and Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals (COP). Driving the brand priorities forward through data-driven audiences and ensuring cohesive customer journeys across the digital ecosystem.

Full-Funnel Optimization: Drive optimization across all digital channels, including Programmatic (Display, OLV, CTV), Social, Omni and Search.

Agency Partnership: Work closely with agency counterparts to strategize, create, activate and measure all audiences in media.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Growth

Strategic Consulting: Partner with internal Insights, Analytics, and Brand teams to translate business goals into high-growth audience opportunities.

Closed-Loop Learning: Collaborate with agency partners and CP MME team to activate and scale audience tests, ensuring impactful learnings are incorporated in larger audience planning and data strategy processes.

Global Alignment: Liaise with the Global Digital Organization, IT, and Data Governance functions to ensure North America adopts emerging marketing technologies.
Insights & Data Governance

Actionable Analytics: Identify and communicate high-level recommendations related to audience and channel performance to influence future spend and strategy.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in data science, statistics, econometrics, or consumer science.

At least 5 years of full-time experience in digital marketing and analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience working with data platforms to build, model, activate and optimize addressable audiences across channels and partners.

Experience and knowledge of sophisticated statistical models and methods and statistical design of experiments.

Experience measuring, mining and generating insights from digital customer engagement data within all digital channels, including website, paid media and social media data sets.

Experience creating a single view of the customer across all digital customer engagement channels and impression history.

Optimization approach and expertise in channel digital media optimization as precision audience targeting models.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $109,600.00 - $155,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
