As the Key Account Manager you will be the primary influencer to the distributor to grow market sales, increase share of market of our brands, build customer engagement, identify supply chain efficiencies and ensure flawless excecutions.


This position is about achieving mutually sustainable sales goals through relationship management. You will manage the relationship between Colgate and the distributor in the market, communicating our corporate and brand strategies, understanding customer objectives and strategy, and ultimately ensuring maximum profitability delivering top to bottom annual P&L results against objectives. 


You'll also provide leadership to your internal team and distributor sales teams with the responsibility of developing the business across all functional areas. You'll develop the strategy and lead all levels of customer engagement, understanding and refining plan implications and customer input so we can build growth through increased market share and financial return. You'll also conduct detailed analysis and post-analysis of business including sales performance,share of market, pricing, promotional activities, market and shopper insights. Key to the role is ensuring that we get our products into the store, off the shelf, and into the home of the consumers cost effectively and more efficiently than our competition.


Essential Functions

 

  • Responsible for delivering net sales, volume and market share targets for Trinidad and Tobago Market.
  • Responsible for establishing long term mutually beneficial relationships with Key Customers and effectively utilizing resources with a certain budget.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the values, strategies and policies of the customer and anticipating future direction and needs in order to set long term objectives for the team.
  • Drive incremental distribution and availability of our products on all retail environments.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • At least 5+ years of commercial experience
  • Strong experience working with P&L
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strong analytics skills
  • Microsoft or Google Tools
  • Experience managing people
