As the Hill's Pet US Digital Engagement Manager Lead - Content & SEO, you will be an integral team leader responsible for planning and executing our always-on content engagement and SEO strategies across Social, CRM, and Web. This role manages a team responsible for day to day content strategy, development and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media and SEO best practices, trends, and an ability to work cross-functionally while managing multiple projects. This position will also be responsible for working closely with our marketing teams as well as directing our agency resources in developing engagement strategies that will support our brand growth plans.


What you will do

  • Always On Content Strategy + Management - Lead team responsible for 24/7 content stream across consumer and professional target audiences. Content streams to include article content, social content, email content, and influencer programs for both organic and paid placements. Leverage target audience insights, search data, CRM data, and more to drive content strategy, topic selection, and activation on always-on channels. Includes managing a supporting agency team for content development and collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities.
  • SEO Strategy & Operations - Conduct research, analysis, and audits of web content to develop and deploy strategies for the organic search channel that ladder back to our overall strategic growth plans. Own the article content creation process by leading the agency and content production teams from ideation to publish. Consult, assist, and collaborate with regional SEO leads as needed

  • Insights & Analytics Reporting - Collaborate with Insight & Analytics team and agency partners to develop reporting and insight analysis on always-on programs. Including but not limited to, platform reporting, web reporting and Brand Lift Study analysis. Monitor social media discussion on the category, competitors and brand using social listening tools. Share regular performance updates and help define best practices to scale to global markets.

  • Content Partnerships - Identify and secure key partnerships with platforms, influencers, and content hubs that align with brand growth audiences in order to extend our reach and engagement outside of our owned ecosystems. Manage vendors and provide reporting of effectiveness of content partnerships.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards.



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing or related field

  • At least 5 years Proven experience in digital marketing with hands on optimization and content creation experience.

  • At least 3 years Prior experience leading teams and managing agency resources

  • Deep knowledge of social platform best practices

  • Subject matter expertise in SEO, paid media, and CRM touchpoints

  • Understanding of agile methodology and process

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions

  • Understanding of agile methodology and process


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus

Salary Range $120,720 - $158,445 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
