Job Summary:
Lead the operations of transportation & warehousing across the entire Turkey and, driving cost and efficiency improvements while exceeding customer service expectations. Manage 3PL warehouses. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for Logistics cost in Turkey. Ensure proper processes in place for capturing and reporting of the cost, organize regular cost reviews with necessary functions

  • Lead the operations with regards to distribution & warehousing of products within the Supply network. Drive cost efficiencies, leverage global best practices & sustainability initiatives. Scope of responsibility includes 3PL warehouses, road transport, and projects involving distributor warehouses. 

  • Lead efforts to optimize Transportation and Warehousing costs

  • Accountable for Transportation & WH Key Performance Indicators (KPI), maintaining regional scorecards, and working with the entire Supply Chain, Service Providers, Divisional and local CS&L, and commercial team to maximize results. Lead warehouse audits and work on findings. 

  • Support efforts to evaluate & implement alternative Supply & Distribution networks in the entire Turkey&CACE region that optimize cost and service objectives while considering changes in business and customer profiles.

  • Manage ongoing relationships of 3PL’s, carriers, forwarders and customs brokers including audits, physical counts. Ensure process standardization across warehouses. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Logistics degree, MBA desirable

  • Fluent in English

  • Minimum 3 years of Logistics or Supply Chain experience

  • Experience of Transportation Management including road, intermodal, ocean.

  • Prior Experience in 3PL management and KPI management

  • Market knowledge in Turkey & CACE region
