Job Summary:
The Customer Development Manager/Ecommerce is responsible for delivering net sales, volume and market share targets for our customers through driving growth within categories. Responsibilities also cover establishing long term mutually helpful relationships with customers and optimally using resources within a certain budget.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer development strategies into specific operational objectives (e.g., pricing, distribution, plan o gram execution, volume, profitability, and market share) and other key performance indicators. Performance metrics include trade investment, margin, forecast accuracy, account inventory levels, on shelf availability, and promotional performance.

  • Ensure “winning on the ground” is a top priority for the team, and that 5P tactics and demand marketing initiatives are performed with excellence at the point of sales

  • Influence customers to grow sales, improve service and identify efficiencies by applying new techniques, tools and information systems.

  • Work with Retail Marketing team to leverage trade spending and develop effective promotional and in store programs that drive consumption off the shelf. Ensure efficient and effective use of promotional material and equipment.

  • Conduct detailed analyses of trends and gain customer and CP agreement for a business plan that balances the needs of the customer and Colgate.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferably with a business administration, economics and social sciences bachelor degree.

  • Minimum 5 years Customer and category management experience; preferably within a multinational FMCG company in Ecommerce and similar channel

  • P&L Literacy

  • Negotiation Skills

  • Proficient in English
