Role & Responsibilities

The Innovation Project  Manager oversees projects from innovation design to delivery, coordinating the various internal and external contributors. He/She will be responsible for the completion of all assigned product innovation projects within required time frames and budget, meanwhile implement continuous improvement for the product innovation processes.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Generate opportunity spaces by building a deep understanding of category & consumer unmet needs and challenges.

  • Monitor external marketplace (both inside and outside of category) for emerging trends, novel solutions and technologies.

  • Collaborate with internal and external Innovation partners (Design, Insights,  R&D, brands and agencies) to identify, assess and validate new innovation spaces for Oral Care. 

  • Work with regional teams to develop go to market models for innovation and develop incubation business plans.

  • Work closely with the China Devices team to drive learnings and synergies, and translate these into innovation opportunities and concept spaces for the India market. 

  • Manage ongoing innovation projects and resources.

  • End to end E comm innovations crafting & networks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and above, having background in Marketing/Business is a plus

  • 5+ years of work experience as a project manager with a strong background in Supply Chain. 

  • Work experience in FMCG in similar roles is a plus

  • Demonstrated creative problem solving skills in previous roles 

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple innovation projects

  • Demonstrated experience of driving new thinking or changing thinking of a team or organization 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence multiple senior stakeholders in previous roles
