Job Summary
As an IT Infrastructure Analyst, you will help manage the IT infrastructure projects and operations, to ensure effective functioning in the area of network and telecommunications, local applications hosting, local hardware, and servers, according to business and IT needs. The Infrastructure Analyst is the liaison working with global teams responsible for maintaining the availability of production systems through proactive network management and production system support.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborating with network staff, communications staff/vendors, and data center personnel on a day-to-day basis to negotiate service levels, manage servers, and ensure the timely resolution of issues.
- Maintaining global or regional communications, standards, and documentation and overseeing review of subsidiary network standards.
- Support Global Teams to implement WAN/LAN strategy, upgrades and outage recovery.
- Support Global Teams for server hardware/software upgrade projects and outage recovery.
- Planning and executing routine backup / disaster recovery for the network and servers.
- Raising critical project issues (e.g., design, cost, quality, timeframe, and resources) and actively seeking resolution with parties outside the immediate team.
- Manages maintenance contracts for active equipment (servers, storage, routers, switches, etc.)
- Coordinates with vendors and global teams any required configuration change, new implementation, replacement, etc, out of business hours and operation;
- Coordinates with the IT Infrastructure Manager any new project proposal, budget and timing required;
- Participates in audit process and ensure that Colgate Global Standards are in place
- Support implementation of global IT projects locally
- Support the Manufacturing Team in planning/implementing manufacturing projects according to Colgate Standards.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business.
- Proven experience in IT area
- Fluency in English.
- Should be a good communicator to be able to coordinate with different partners
- Should be ready to tackle additional challenges in the Workspace One, Tanium, Intune, SCCM & Active Directory area and work throughout the projects/ tasks
- Proven track record with projects and deploying new technology
- Good verbal, writing and documentation skills
- Knowledge of different problem solving and troubleshooting techniques
- TCP/IP Advanced
- Cisco ICND1 and ICND2
- Cisco VoIP knowledge
- Cisco WLC knowledge
- VMware ESXi knowledge
- Nutanix knowledge
- Windows Server administration
- IBM/Lenovo server/storage/tape library knowledge
- Structured cabling knowledge

APC/Schneider UPS knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CNE, MSE) is highly desirable.
- Intermediate Spanish is a plus
