Summary job description:

The LCMSMS Leader is responsible for the effective management, implementation and maintenance of LC MS/MS quality programs to ensure compliance with quality standards and legislative regulations.

Effectively manages a team of LCMSMS specialists. Participates in the fulfillment of business and company results while maintaining positive relations with employees.

Continuously identifies and initiates improvements in the area of analysis and quality. This includes providing training and implementing methodologies to enable the manufacturing facility to deliver consistent, safe and effective products that comply with product specifications and applicable legislation. Also responsible for ensuring compliance with C/P standards and legislative requirements related to food quality and safety.

The LC MSMS Leader must be an effective and valuable member of the quality team to ensure the plant's business results are met. The LC MSMS Leader works in a structure that requires significant interaction across the entire manufacturing plant and the C-P organization and supports the execution of plant strategy

 

Job responsibility:

  • Manage quality control of materials and equipment to achieve performance goals, measured by production KPIs.
  • Responsibility for ensuring and enforcing quality principles into the production plant. Improve local knowledge by providing training programs and evaluating the effectiveness of training. Identify and develop new quality training for new employees, related to new processes and equipment, new guidelines and legislative regulations.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of finished products by adhering to product specifications and food safety programs and ensuring compliance with regulations / legal requirements (weight control, etc.).
  • Reporting, analysis and monitoring of monitored quality deviations; conducting investigations and implementing preventive and corrective measures.
  • Blocking and release of raw materials / (semi) finished products / packaging materials in accordance with defined specifications
  • Responsible for implementing and ensuring quality procedures and work instructions.
  • Identifying and initiating quality improvement; Consultancy in the improvement of processes, products, quality systems and work procedures.
  • Responsible for calibration and verification of LCMSMS instruments and equipment.
  • Implement, maintain and improve site specific quality plan to support business growth, reduce variances and waste.
  • Measuring and reporting KPIs for quality and defining improvement activities from them.
  • Participation in corporate and divisional audits and management of local quality audits. Provide assistance in concluding audit observations.
  • He/She is in charge of plant SOP for quality (LC MS/MS laboratory testing area).
  • Ensures compliance with official laboratory methods, calibration of analytical equipment, preventive maintenance, control samples and sample archive management.
  • Ensures method validation and instrument qualification.
  • Participates in technology transfer processes.
  • Evaluation of statistical data; leading and/or participating in cross-functional team projects and special projects.
  • Ensures effective communication within the team.
  • Supports subordinates through training, information sharing, coaching, goal setting. Leads by example, evaluates and delegates to ensure the development of people and teams within the organization.
  • Implements FP&R and other continuous improvement programs within the plant.
  • Respects the values of CP and the principles of Dealing with Respect and is guided by them.
  • Acquaints with and adheres to CP/Hill's guidelines, and other legislation, especially in areas related to EOHS, quality and GMP.
  • Ensures fulfillment of the PM&D and PEP process in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • He collaborates on the development of new analytical methods and the introduction of new instruments in the laboratory.

Qualifications:

College (Engineering/Master's degree) Analytical focus.

Experience working on GC/LSMS.

 

Work experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an analytical laboratory
