The EU Quality Systems Specialist is responsible for maintaining the Technology Transfer program within Hill’s manufacturing sites and Contract Manufacturers. Additionally, is responsible for implementing a regional approach and support on the Validation program to ensure compliance with the GQS-022 Process Qualification, Validation and Control.

 

Focus of the role will include, but is not limited to, the following areas: 

 

SAP Inspection Plan Maintenance:  Ensure raw material and finished product inspection plans are maintained & updated for all sites within the EMEA region

Technology Transfer: Support continued implementation of the Technology Transfer program standards to ensure all steps are complete which includes Technical Readiness Reviews, Plant testing, Launch Readiness and Post Launch reviews
Equipment / Process Validation: Support regional validation programs to ensure development, implementation and monitoring of effective validation programs are in place. Supervise and support the Validation Master Plan per manufacturing site in the region
Quality Compliance: Ensure process, equipment, and operational specifications are consistent with, and comply with Quality and EOHS Standards & Global Regulatory requirements. Ensure CM sites adhere to applicable Quality Standards. Provide performance / project update
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in regional facilities
Auditing:  Conduits supplier audit of external sites and leverage facility action plans to enforce timely closure of gaps
Issue Resolution: Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and identification of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) if process capabilities do not meet expectations

 

Education/ Experience Requirements
Basic requirements include:
BS degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or other related field
2+ years working in a food manufacturing environment
Possess the ability to clearly understand, read, speak and write in English

 

Preferred qualifications include:
4+ years quality and food manufacturing experience
1-2 years proven experience in managing or coordinating projects
1-2 years experience in equipment and/or process validation or technology transfer activities
Working knowledge of HACCP & cGMPs
Strong ability and knowledge of statistics and Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools
User knowledge of SAP and Minitab. Excellent knowledge of Google or Microsoft Office tools
