For our business development team, we are looking for:

 

Shopper Marketing Manager

    • Job purpose
      The Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and managing all marketing requirements for the Business Development team including Key Account & eCommerce custom artwork requirements as well as all major project launch support materials.

 

    • Reporting lines
      • Reporting to: Business Development Manager
      • Coordinating mostly with Digital & Analytics Manager & KAM’s

 

    • Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Lead and manage all marketing requirements for the Business Development team including Key Account & eCommerce custom artwork requirements as well as all major project launch support materials. Including:

      • Gather data, analyse information and draw insights to identify opportunities and pinpoint risks
      • Understand requirements from stakeholders
      • Seek innovative, creative media and merchandise opportunities
      • Develop copy to support projects & campaigns
      • Brief agencies on artwork, printed, POS and digital support materials
      • Manage process of signing off creative within deadlines
      • Update, communicate and involve sales team & other key stakeholders often
      • Forecast requirements including stock and promotional items
      • Set, allocate and administer budgets
      • Coordinate implementation incl admin, mailing and customer service etc to implement campaigns
      • Assess progress and implementation, identify obstacles, problem solve  and refine plans
      • Measure and report performance and all marketing campaigns, assessing measures against goals and providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

 

    • Measures of success
      • Functional:  Project targets and improvement in Hill’s share, sales, implementation, promotional participation 
      • As part of Hill’s: Country targets

 

    • In short
      You are an experienced entrepreneurial marketer, looking for a challenge in a new growing team focused on business development and new projects. You are service-oriented: you don’t work for yourself, but represent all the stakeholders including our customers. You enjoy the idea of juggling a lot of balls to launch projects flawlessly. Besides that, you have a pragmatic way of working and are not afraid to ‘get your hands dirty’. Your leadership, planning & communication skills are outstanding.

 

    • Required qualifications (knowledge and skills)
      • Marketing degree or equivalent required
      • Strong computer skills in Google Suite (incl. Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Slides)

 

    • Experience
      • Possesses 5+ years marketing experience ideally in a B2B2C environment

 

    • Your profile (behaviors & soft skills)
      • Critical quick thinker that always seeks to develop win-wins for Hilll’s and it’s clients
      • Uses data and consumer insights to develop commercial recommendations that are aligned to business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
      • Works effectively across functions, channels, and categories to align priorities, solve problems, optimize resources, and drive effective execution
      • Excellent communicator, that actively involves, updates and drives buy-in for projects
      • Digitally savvy and curious, understand the dynamics of eCommerce
      • Agile mindset, able & willing to constantly adapt to changing realities
      • Outstanding organisational skill’s, able negotiator, seeks to discover common ground, identify vital interests, and understand the underlying priorities
