For our business development team, we are looking for:

 

Digital & Analytics Manager

 

    • Job purpose
      The Digital & Analytics Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all development, digital and tech initiatives focused on new business opportunities, customer acquisition, collaborations and partnerships and eCommerce projects.

 

    • Reporting lines
      • Reporting to: Business Development Manager
      • Coordinating with Shopper Marketing Manager, KAM & Acquisition Manager

 

    • Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Lead and manage all development, digital and eCommerce initiatives for the Business Development Team to deliver budgeted sales targets and profit. Including:

      • Gather data, analyse information and draw insights to identify opportunities and pinpoint risks
      • Understand requirements from stakeholders
      • Seek innovative, creative digital /tech solutions supporting business strategy & challenges
      • Conceptualise and brief feasible digital / tech solutions, including dev requirements, front end UX and all technical and functional requirements.
      • Work with Marketing Project Manager to ensure all artwork, copy and support materials for a successful launch are in place.
      • Brief agencies and manage a detailed project scope and milestone plan to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget.
      • Balance delivery priorities, track progress; problem solve obstacles to keep the project on track.
      • Manage testing & signoff of projects within deadlines
      • Update, communicate and involve key stakeholders often presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executives and technical/non-technical employees
      • Plan and run sprint / super user onboarding sessions to ensure smooth rollout of projects.
      • Assess progress and implementation, identify obstacles and refine plans and problem solve
      • Measure and report performance assessing measures against goals and providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
      • Set, allocate and administer budgets

 

Drive Hill’s share of eCommerce business to grow market share and sales volume.

      • Establish a positive relationship with key eComm clients as a point lead for annual strategies, special projects, integrations and new test-and-learn promotional activity.
      • Evaluate website experience, Hill’s presence and performance figures quarterly and execute initiatives to drive improve Hill’s share of business
      • Coach KAM’s on eCommerce basics so they are able to evaluate sites and support these clientsr day-to-day business needs.

      • Functional:  Project targets and improvement in Hill’s share, sales, implementation, participation, tech solution rollout feedback 
      • As part of Hill’s: Country targets, E-commerce targets

      You are a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can be best used to achieve business goals. You have a proven track record of digital transformation creating growth-driven digital solutions, combining smart architecture, innovative development and great design and user experience.   You are an excellent collaborator and problem solver. You are organised, methodical and thorough and can easily drive projects forward in time and on budget. Besides that, you have a pragmatic way of working and are not afraid to ‘get your hands dirty’.

 

    • Required qualifications (knowledge and skills)
      • Business/IT/Computer Science degree or equivalent required
      • Strong computer skills in Google Suite (incl. Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Slides)

 

    • Experience
      • Possesses 7+ years digital development project/account management experience

      • Passionate about the latest tech solutions, digital trends and best practices in online marketing /eCommerce / Data-driven CRM enterprises
      • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to:
        • Collaborate effectively across functions to understand stakeholder needs, align priorities, solve problems, optimize resources, and drive effective execution
        • translate business needs into technical specs to brief developers and digital agencies
        • Ability to summarise, simplify and concisely present technical projects so the business understands full implications
      • Analytical thinker with solution-oriented approach seeking to discover pain point, evaluating impact and developing solutions.
      • Methodical, organised, well planned and thorough
      • Pragmatic and agile mindset, able & willing to work with what’s available, problem solve around obstacles and constantly adapt to changing realities
