Job Title:

Digital Brand - Senior Search Manager (A Specialist Role)

Location:

Hong Kong

Reporting to:

IBE Director - Lyndon Morant; working in a team of eCommerce lead, Campaign Planner and Content Designer.

Main Purpose of Position:

  • Main objective is to maximize portfolio of Colgate-Palmolive brands’ ranking performance on all paid and organic search platforms with clear mastery of search mechanics leading to optimal paid search investments and the highest possible share of qualified traffic.  Responsible for developing, optimizing and executing search engine optimization (SEO) strategies. Defines, prioritizes, and manages execution of key SEO tactical initiatives, including keyword research and analysis, on-site content optimization, and inbound link acquisition and optimization. Establishes, tracks, and reports on SEO KPIs (key performance indicators) such as search engine results page (SERP) ranking, keyword traffic, and sales performance. Analyzes industry trends and competitive landscape to exploit any expansion and optimization opportunities. 


 

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in how search mechanics work across all paid and organic search platforms, including e-commerce.

  • Understand what quality factors decide brand ranking performance on both paid and organic searches.

  • Analyze and decide on what are keywords to buy on paid searches.

  • Develop/Recommend design briefs for best content development to achieve targeted search outcome.

  • Ability to share knowledge with and coach other digital search specialists on Hub eCom / IBE teams.  

  • Develop and implement at Hub level best operating processes and guidelines for all above points.

Working Experience

  • Established and proven search experiences on all search platforms in APAC ex-China.

  • FMCG experience is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor & above

  • Any advanced degree in Computer Science, Design Thinking, Data/Analytics is an advantage.
