About the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Hill’s Hong Kong, this position is instrumental in the company’s efforts to grow sales and market share with its focus on veterinary recommendation and leadership, by providing education, technical and business development support to the profession  and key account customers, and by bringing veterinary insights to the company.

The Professional Consulting Veterinarian tailors the strategy provided by Global/Regional PVA to the local situation and commercial grid, to deliver Hill’s programs focused on all parts of the veterinary profession (as well as internal audiences) with a focus on digital engagement . This role integrates these programs into the commercial organisation, and accomplishes the yearly KPIs set by the Commercial Manager, leading to achieve following key goals: 

• Strong positive impression of the Hill’s company, its products, and its services

• Continued scientific leadership of Hill’s

• Leadership in active veterinary team endorsement and by world-class KTL and veterinarian relationship management,supported by excellence in face to face and digital education

• Creation of future endorsers through school programs, events and conferences

• A cross-disciplinary approach to key account management which takes full advantage of the veterinary expertise within Hill’s

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine (or equivalent country qualification)

• Current veterinary license and clinical or veterinary practice (or a similar job) experience

• Preferred: Previous experience in veterinary, pharmaceutical or nutrition companies

• Has built a strong network in the veterinary community and country specialist governing bodies and societies

• Knowledge of the pet food industry and Hill’s products

• Business and practice management experience

• Language fluency in both English and Chinese

• Good business and communication (written & presentation) skills

• Ability to manage diverse projects with cross-functional partners

• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms
