POSITION: Business Manager (Open Trade)
DEPARTMENT: Customer Development Department (Sales Team)


Objectives / Purposes of the Job
Drive sales growth & distribution coverage in General Trade, small chain, e-commerce
and export businesses via respective distributors’ management in Hong Kong and
Job Description:
1. Develop shopper programs and campaign to achieve & exceed the sales target with the customers at the assigned territory
2. Apply shopper and customer insights to develop Retail Environment/Channel strategy on 5P (including product assortment, pricing, promotion, placement and POP)
3. Strategic sales and promotion planning with 5P execution excellence via distributor and field sales management
4. Drive distribution expansion program and drive diligent execution of mandated product assortment, develop effective pricing and promotion offers to drive shopper off take
5. Maximize in-store visibility & availability of our products through effective replenishment & tidy up all the merchandising tools with sufficient stocks display
6. Execute the promotion plan & set up POP materials effectively & efficiently with the customers in order to deliver the company goals
7. Enhance product awareness & its display quality at the point of purchase through excellence merchandising execution & trade compliance
8. Budget Management and P&L ownership with demand forecast and stock planning capability
9. Ownership in generating market intelligence, with knowledge and understanding in AC Nielsen analytics to decide appropriate actions to ensure our product & promotion competitiveness in the market
10. Follow up orders, payment collection, goods return, claims settlements, etc
11. Manage and develop strategic relationship with customers to drive sales growth, expand effective store coverage, ensure heavy inventory level, and improve in- store execution
12. Explore new business opportunity / format with the existing & new customers
13. Collaborate with multi-functional team to ensure in-store execution excellence

14. Anticipate, predict, develop tactic to proactively responding to competitive moves


Job Requirements:
1. University Education or above
2. Fluent in written and spoken English
3. Over 5 years’ experience FMCG with at least 2 years in Distributor Management
4. Field Sales Experience is a plus
5. Aggressive with agility, persistent, eager to drive with self-initiation, positive
thinking, strategic mindset
6. Strong communication & good interpersonal skills
7. Able to work under pressure and willing to take challenges
8. Less experienced candidate will be considered for the position of Assistant Business Manager (CDT, Sales Team)
