About the Role

We are out here to find a dynamic and talented Demand and Supply planner to join our Customer Service and Logistics (CS&L)  team for the Asia region. In this action role, you will lead preparation, alignment, and communication of a high quality Demand Plan (Subsidiaries and Distributors markets) with a planning horizon of current year + 1. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Customer Service and Logistics - Hill’s Asia and will lead the CS&L function end to end, as part of a cross functional team member supporting the Distributor markets.

You will also be responsible for leading all activities to develop, align and communicate the rolled up demand plan for the region, which is four Subsidiaries (sales organizations) and four Distributor markets. The final demand plan must balance cross functional input and reflect the latest commercial/customer plans in order to meet business objectives. This role will be the main conduit between the commercial team and Global (Topeka/ international) Demand Planner to achieve an aligned/synchronized demand plan and drive continuous improvement. 

This experienced  planner will also lead initiatives, implement next-gen tools,  and support pilots which involve demand planning.

The ideal candidate:

• Basic qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Logistics, Finance or related.  A MBA is preferred

•  5+ years of experience in Customer Service & Logistics experience required, with expertise in Supply Planning & Inventory Management preferred

• Preferable experience in consumer goods industry working with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, and/or Marketing

• Familiarity with the pet food business is a plus.

• SAP R/3 and APO-DP systems experience a plus

• Language fluency in English 

• Strong commercial understanding

• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, effectively manage processes and projects

• Strong analytical, decision making skills, creative thinking and problem solving mindset

• Proven experience collaborating with cross functional teams

• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills required

• Digitally savvy - Google Suite or similar digital tools

• Excellent business and communication (written & presentation) skills
