In today's multifaceted, it is an exciting time to be in the quality team. What role will you play as a member of the quality team? The Compliance Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of the focused site validation master plan, leading our site's consumer complaint program, investigating consumer complaints, ensuring needed change controls are detailed and approved prior to execution of changes, supporting internal audit program and ensuring all products are accurately registered and listed with FDA. You also are responsible for conducting positive product releases for Oral Care Focus focused facility and contract manufacturers, following up for Corrective and Preventative Actions, act as back up to Compliance Supervisor for finished product releases for Oral Care strategic site as per FDA Regulations for OTC, cosmetics, prescription products, and medical devices.

What you will do

  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology,
  • Engineering (Chemical or Industrial), or related experience.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a regulated environment (FDA, EPA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Ability to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends or holidays as needed or required
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, 21CFR Parts 11, 210, 211, and/or 820

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical (FDA) industry.
  • Experience in development and execution of validations and equipment qualifications
  • Experience using SAP or other plant ERP related software systems
  • Working knowledge of Prescription Drug Marketing Act and Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) Regulations
