The primary purpose of the Commercial Analyst DACH (m/f/d) role is to identify and highlight commercial opportunities across the market channels, by analysing market, customer and internal sales data. The role is instrumental to generate relevant insights for the stakeholders (management, Key Account Managers, Customers) and to make sure that strategy and proposed actions are based on facts and a sound understanding of the market.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyses and correlates data from multiple sources to generate commercial insights
  • Reviews available internal reports and KPIs to identify abnormalities, and then provides insights and understanding with deeper analysis of root causes and potential correlations
  • Collect and share data & insights about our competitors and customers
  • Works with Customer Development Manager and Key Account Managers to provide fact based input on opportunities and suitable actions for the different channels and customers
  • Participates at Customer Meetings to present insights and opportunities
  • Provides regular updates to Management, highlighting reasons for specific brand/customer performance
  • Collaborates with others to works on special projects for which specific data analysis and insights are required

Qualifications / soft skills:

  • University Degree
  • Fluency in German and English, French would be a plus
  • 2-3 years experience in data analytics and/or market research and/or Finance
  • Ambitious & willing to keep developing
  • Positive attitude, through challenging situations. Highly resilient and advocate for change
  • Highly organized and competent project management skills. Sets clear priorities
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo and identify new opportunities for improvement
  • Shows clarity of thought in complex situations. Can clearly explain scientific terms in simple, clear language
     

This position is temporary for 24 months.
