Role Summary
The CD Retail Environment Specialist (eCommerce) drives commercial growth and market share for Colgate-Palmolive across priority eTailers in Central America. Reporting to the Retail Marketing CAM Director, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams in Consumer Marketing and Customer Development to deliver data-driven strategies, optimize channel performance, and elevate brand visibility. Positioned at the center of regional digital transformation, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Colgate’s omnichannel shopper experience and maximize P&L performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial strategy and eSOM (e-Share of Market) growth across designated digital channels by implementing eRCD guidelines, optimizing digital shelf execution, and managing ROI for promotional investments.
- Establish strategic partnerships with retailer marketing organizations to negotiate agreements, co-create business opportunities, and align promotional calendars with brand guidelines.
- Direct the end-to-end rich content strategy, product portfolio updates, and keyword strategies to improve search ranking, boost online Conversion Rates, and enhance product detail pages.
- Analyze category trends, eTailer data, ratings, and reviews to project sales forecasts, optimize yearly eCommerce budgets, and define strategic investment allocation based on growth potential.
- Partner with Consumer Marketing and Customer Development teams to execute 360-degree digital campaigns, update booking guidelines, and launch differentiated product innovations using a full-funnel approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional commercial experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in eCommerce or digital marketing.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience operating within an omnichannel consumer goods environment.
- Demonstrated experience in category management, P&L analysis, and handling multi-category seasonality/trends.
- Proficiency with Kantar (Home Panel) databases, customer scanning platforms, and eCommerce analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of SEO, keyword optimization, and eTailer digital platforms.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
