The Engineer Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the execution of the capital program at C.A. using best engineering practices and ensuring projects are carried out under company EOHS, quality and FP&R standards and financial rules. Manage and coordinate projects according to the needs of the Engineering and Services department. Ensure the correct functioning of all company services

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Engineering and Services department for the C.A. countries.
  • Manage and coordinate the CEB (Capital Expenditure Budget) budget and achieve project objectives according to the needs of the C.A. countries.
  • Direct the Project Engineers, Service Engineer and Plant System Engineer, and ensure their training and career development.
  • Monitor and ensure proper operation and maintenance of utility systems (water, steam, compressed air, cooling, air conditioning, and electricity); as well as the maintenance of buildings and general areas of the plant
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, EOHS and FPR standards in the developed projects.
  • Supervise the control of the company's assets (equipment), which involves monthly capitalizations and the identification of assets on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure good management of contractors from selection to execution of work.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 7 years in the manufacturing or engineering area.
  • English language proficiency at least 80%
  • Requires knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
  • Requires knowledge to manage unit operations, skills and engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of Quality, EOHS and FPR standards.
  • Requires knowledge of process control and automation.
  • Project management.
  • Personnel management
  • PMS (Project Management, Gantt, Pert, etc.)
