Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :

Owning the integrity of our brand’s physical presence, you will lead the Packaging Laboratory activities to ensure every material meets our rigorous global quality and safety standards. Developing deep expertise in packaging technology and transfer, you will be the final line of defense in preventing non-conforming materials from reaching production. In this role, you will not only manage a technical facility but also mentor and grow a high-performing team using FEED principles to drive excellence

 

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and Implement Standards: Take full ownership of Quality Standard #25 for packaging testing and developing comprehensive laboratory programs for all incoming materials.

  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Manage the full lifecycle of laboratory equipment, including Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), calibration, and maintenance of master data.

  • Drive Quality Control & Compliance: Perform quality control on incoming packaging, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and coordinate with suppliers to secure timely CAPAs.

  • Manage Technology & Change: Coordinate technology transfer processes for new or modified packaging and lead laboratory investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

  • People Leadership: Coach and develop the skills of packaging laboratory personnel, ensuring a culture of safety (EOHS) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).



Required  Qualifications :

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or Master’s degree (MSc) in Packaging, Engineering, or Quality.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Quality, Production, or a related technical field.

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in laboratory testing methods, equipment qualification, and the ability to interpret technical release specifications.

  • Documentation Skills: Ability to manage SOP reviews and checklists within a Document Management System (DMS)

 

Preferred Qualifications :

  • CPG Experience: Previous experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry is highly preferred.

  • Advanced Technical Skills: Specialized knowledge in Packaging Technology Transfer and conducting supplier audits.

  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a focus on collaborative problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
