Finance Plant Controller will lead monthly reporting, budget / forecast process and financial analysis, ensuring the critical metrics definition for specific Business Areas.

Will build up a strong working relationship with the leadership team, operational managers, and other business partners.

Key responsibilities :

  • Be responsible for the monthly closing activities :
  • Connect with CBS and plant employees on closing activities
  • Run month-end closing and prepare monthly financial documents and other operational reports for site
  • Support analysis and commentary of drivers behind variances, month to month vs. prior year, and forecast and budget
  • Monitors spending on key categories to include maintenance, supplies, and consumables, and support company initiatives to reduce spending.
  • Must work across organizational boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve plan objectives
  • Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as vital to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks
  • Shares best practices across the global finance team, e.g. operational improvements, financial modeling and procedures changes.
  • Collaborates with operations to explain results, make improvements, lead projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis
  • Estimate product costs to support quoting activities
  • Plant budget/MYR/LE preparation with partnership with operations
  • Perform quarterly inventory count with Company instructions, document results, and suggest improvements.
  • Capital expenditure - review of projects, savings calculation/review. Post project review.
  • Attend daily operations meetings and present financial results to ensure the management team are aligned with the performance of the company.

Required Qualifications

Graduated from a Business School, Engineering School or University, with a specialty in Finance / Controlling / Audit

  • Minimum of 5-year experience in Finance (Financial Controlling, External Audit…)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and handle many different tasks / responsibilities under pressure in a fast-growing environment
  • Open-minded, active, hard-working and detailed professional, experienced in international business
  • Advanced Excel/Google sheet skills
  • Fluent business and financial English (written and verbal) (Mandatory)
  • Located in Gebze
