Title: Expert, Enterprise Architecture

 

Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

  • Colgate-Palmolive is seeking an Integration Enterprise Architect to lead and shape our global Integration Center of Excellence (COE). This strategic leader will be responsible for defining an enterprise-wide integration strategy that is technology-agnostic while possessing deep expertise in the SAP Integration Suite. You will lead the technology vision for how our diverse systems communicate, ensuring a seamless, secure, and scalable digital ecosystem that supports our global growth

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Integration Leadership: Lead and shape the Integration Center of Excellence (COE) to drive technological innovation and efficiency across the organization.

  • Enterprise Strategy & Roadmap: Create and manage a technology-agnostic integration framework and roadmap that aligns with global business expectations and IT strategies.

  • Governance & Standards: Lead architecture governance processes to establish and implement integration standards, ensuring all solutions follow industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Platform Design: Architect scalable integration solutions for various enterprise systems to ensure flawless communication and high-performance data exchange.

  • Technology Evaluation: Identify and evaluate new integration technologies—both SAP and non-SAP—to determine their impact on the existing Enterprise Architecture.

  • Risk & Compliance Management: Assess and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring all integration patterns adhere to organizational security policies and data encryption strategies.

 

Required  Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: 7+ years of proven ability in IT as an Enterprise Architect, with expertise in handling large-scale, sophisticated landscapes and high-stakes "turning point" decisions.

  • Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Foundry, and API-led architectures.

  • Framework Proficiency: Solid understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.

  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record of aligning business goals with organizational strategies.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Relevant architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) and SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Integration Suite.

  • Industry Expertise: Experience working as an Enterprise Architect for a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company.

  • Tooling: Experience with EA tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, or ABACUS to maintain comprehensive documentation.

  • Multi-Cloud Knowledge: Fair understanding of cloud technologies like Google Cloud, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
