Who We Are

Colgate-Palmolive Company is a global consumer products company operating in over 200 countries specializing in Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Skin Care, and Pet Nutrition. Our products are trusted in more households than any other brand in the world, making us a household name!

Join Colgate-Palmolive, a caring, innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for people, their pets, and our planet. Guided by our core values—Caring, Inclusive, and Courageous—we foster a culture that inspires our people to achieve common goals. Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.

The EHS System Reliability Engineer shapes and sustains a proactive, data-driven safety culture anchored in holistic System Reliability. This role ensures a Zero Accident and Zero Harm environment for people and the planet, while continuously maintaining a 100% "fail-safe" pSIF ecosystem through Integrated Management (OpEx) and advanced technology enablement.

1. Sustainability Governance & Environmental Compliance (Excel at Fundamentals) (40%)

  • Proactively executes and governs all environmental, health, and safety activities to ensure absolute compliance with Colgate-Palmolive’s global EHS standards and Vietnam’s local statutory requirements.

  • Embeds compliance and risk reduction into daily operations by shifting from a manual "compliance mindset" to centralized digital tracking (e.g., Gensuite), ensuring all permits and legal reports are proactively managed.

  • Manages the overall performance of third-party contractors operating the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), leveraging operational data to ensure alignment with the plant's Net Zero Water roadmap and emission baselines.

  • Supervises contractors conducting periodic environmental monitoring, ensuring that all environmental metrics and reports are integrated seamlessly into the plant's Data Core for proactive risk intervention.

2. Integrated Management (OpEx) & Team Dynamics (30%)

  • Consolidates EHS, QA, and FP&R inspection processes into a unified Integrated OPEX Management System to eliminate organizational silos and focus on total System Reliability.

  • Fosters Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles by facilitating "Learning Team Light" activities to understand the 'blue line' (how work is actually performed).

  • People Engagement & Culture Catalyst: Spearheads high-impact engagement activities and cross-functional events at all levels (from the shop floor to management) to drive a unified culture towards Zero Accidents, Zero Non-conformance, and Zero Waste. Acts as the core mobilizer who seamlessly integrates safety, quality, and production mindsets into a single operational heartbeat.

3. Zero Harm & Critical Risk Control (20%)

  • Achieves and maintains a 100% "fail-safe" environment for all pSIF risks, actively contributing to the plant's overall TRR reduction targets.

  • Redesigns work environments and operational processes to completely eliminate high-risk ergonomic tasks and achieves the target of a ladder-free plant.

4. AI-Optimized Operations & Digital Safe Work (10%)

  • Ensures 100% of risk assessments, work permits (SWP), and general contractor safety management are controlled via a centralized digital ecosystem, eliminating manual processes.

  • Leverages AI and IoT technologies to proactively monitor risks, driving the scaling of AI-Safety Camera solutions and AI Pedestrian Protection Systems.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, EHS Management, Data Analytics, or related fields.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in EHS, environmental compliance, continuous improvement, or digital transformation within an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Digital Readiness: A digital mindset and proven experience with Digital Ecosystems, AI applications in operations, and utilizing Data Core analytics for proactive risk management.

Why work with us!

  • Time to Recharge: Up to 17 days of annual leave and dedicated care days to prioritize your mental health and work-life balance.

  • Total Well-being: A competitive Colgate Care package and comprehensive annual check-ups to keep you feeling 100%.

  • Squad & Perks: Exclusive employee discounts on our products, plus bonuses for referring your talented friends to the team.

  • Community & Support: Life happens, and we’re here for it. We back our team with milestone celebrations, support during tough times, and rewards for sticking with us.
