We are excited to invite applications to join our Digital Commerce applications group as Quality Assurance Engineer supporting B2B, B2B2C and DTC business models.  

 

As eCommerce continues to accelerate, we have a number of exciting projects in the works and are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team to help us deliver eCommerce capability faster, without compromising quality.  

 

Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks at once.  You will work with product and engineering teams to plan and develop testing plans.  Use and develop new tools to effectively test products and improve the testing process.  Candidate needs to be a self-starter and eager to learn new technologies and have the ability to consider security implications in their designs.  You are highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team.   You have excellent communication skills, can translate technical jargon into business friendly language to communicate concepts and ideas (and vice versa), and are comfortable working with both technical and non technical stakeholders.


 

Specifically, these positions will have responsibility to:

 

  • Responsible for test case specification, automation and data generation of the product

  • Design and implement functional, performance, scalability, stability, and stress tests

  • Use and develop new tools to effectively test products and improve the testing process.

  • Responsible for planning and developing testing plans

  • Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.

  • Maintain and evaluate automated tests and report issues discovered. 

  • Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.

  • Analyze results, identify functional and performance issues and write clear and detailed bug reports

  • Evaluate, drive, develop, and adopt tools and processes to improve speed, simplicity, and quality in systems

  • Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment

  • Document detail specification of configuration design, advanced understanding of Software Test methodologies, and an expert in testing tools

  • Work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum engineering environment delivering incremental software with high quality

  • Ability to interact with business stakeholders, system integrators and external support providers

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities - thrive in ambiguity, clarify requirements, build consensus, and drive resolution.

 

 

 

Basic Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar degree 

  • 5 plus years of Quality Assurance work experience

  • Strong experience supporting existing and building new automation tools for backend services and frontend web applications.

  • Experience with Digital Commerce platforms such as Commerce Cloud, Magento, Salesforce, Shopify, Big Commerce, SAP hybris etc.

  • Passion about quality and achieving it through testing automation and QA processes

  • Highly organized, creative, motivated, and results driven

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and develop technical skills.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence, and/or Trello)

  • Hands-on experience with test automation using a programming or scripting language (Java or Python preferred).

  • Understanding of testing and test automation for consumer facing applications and devices.

  • Must be an effective multi-tasker comfortable working on multiple products and projects.
