PURPOSE
To plan and execute a solid sourcing strategy for the Media and Marketing spend in Mexico to maximize benefits in terms of innovation, quality, cost and service levels. The Indirect Procurement Coordinator applies strategic sourcing methodology to meet the internal stakeholders request and contribute to business growth by maximizing value, generating important financial contributions and cost avoidance.
SCOPE
This position manages a team and is responsible for the overall execution of the spend categories that include but are not limited to Media, Marketing, Customer Development, In Store Promotion, Consumer Insights, and Brand Innovation.
LET’S TALK ABOUT RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the team efforts towards one single goal

Ensure category strategy definition and implementation

Ensure procurement E2E process: Sourcing, buying, contracting, invoicing

Activate Dynamic Supplier Network to address foundational and Reimagined footprint:
-
Reinforce foundational supply assurance by reviewing business continuity plans with key suppliers.
-
Create and action KPIs to ensure service excellence from suppliers.

Supplier segmentation
-
Create division footprint alternatives and implement changes; pursue strategic supplier development and relationships, including outsourcing strategies.

Strengthen relationships and integrate early to expedite decisions

Create partnerships for long term sustainable sourcing. Define priority materials and suppliers.

Build relationships with key thought leaders in innovative areas to learn and apply new thinking.

Enhance internal stakeholder engagement across all functional areas and divisions

Increase delivered value via key Supplier Relationship Management programs

Gaining comprehensive industry knowledge of best practices, processes, and market and technology trends to proactively adjust sourcing strategy.

Maximize the benefits from eProcurement Tools

Keep high visibility by presenting progress to Subsidiary and Division Leadership

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY

Must have 5 years of experience in Media and Marketing (traditional and digital) Procurement.

Fluent English
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Commercial Relations or equivalent

SAP, Google Collaboration Tools, Procurement Electronic Tools
