Resume of the Position:

 

We are looking for an experienced Global Technology Insights Lead to bring a global perspective to our Home Care (HC) category by aligning consumer needs with product experience. 

 

This role involves leading global research projects leveraging sensory approaches & product experience assessments to provide actionable recommendations and generate consumer insights that can be translated into technical directions to improve/ create new/ enhance product performance.. You'll manage research budgets, maintain strong professional relationships, foster teamwork and present results to cross functional teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Research Leadership: Lead and design comprehensive sensory and consumer research projects directed at supporting the Global Technology (GTech) Organization's needs, with a particular focus on the HC category.
  • Methodology Development: Keep abreast of, and introduce, innovative sensory and consumer evaluation methodologies to ensure robust product assessment.
  • Strategic Workshops: Facilitate workshops or task forces to guide technical teams in the development and implementation of products, claims, or demonstrations.
  • Communication of Insights: Present key findings, insights, and strategic recommendations from sensory and consumer research programs to upper management.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Oversee budget allocation and resource management for assigned categories to ensure projects are adequately funded.
  • Cross-Functional Relations: Strengthen communication and collaboration with the insights community, technology partners, business partners, and strategic suppliers.
  • Translation of Consumer Needs: Convert consumer desires into actionable technical language, fostering the development of superior performance products.

 

What do you need for the position?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sensory Science, Psychology, Statistics, Food Engineering/Science, Marketing, Market Research, or related fields.
  • At least 6 years of relevant sensory experience.
  • Skills in data visualization.
  • Comprehensive understanding of qualitative and quantitative sensory and consumer research methodologies and  tools.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods used in sensory and consumer research.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in advanced spoken and written English.
