Position Summary:
 

The Supply Planner for Export Products will perform supply planning for a portfolio of export products within a specific category. This role is responsible for synchronizing export requirements and supply and acts as the primary contact with supply planners in receiving locations and production planners at production facilities (both CP and contract manufacturers). The Supply Planner is accountable for achieving agreed KPIs related to service, cost, and inventory management.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Supply Planning Cycles: Execute daily and weekly supply planning cycles to balance demand and supply for export items within the assigned category.
  • Product Availability: Ensure product availability at the distribution center, maintaining optimal inventory levels and synchronized execution of new product introductions and transitions.
  • Requirements Consolidation: Receive export requirements from supply planners in receiving locations and consolidate supply plans to be shared with production facilities.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain consistent communication with supply planners and production planners in importing regions. Collaborate closely with supply planning in receiving locations, production planning at sourcing facilities, transportation, warehouse operations, and customer service to achieve efficient, cost-effective supply planning.
  • Decision Making: Balance service levels versus costs while making daily supply-demand balancing decisions.
  • Issue Resolution: Use system alerts to identify and resolve potential supply issues proactively.
  • Best Practices: Execute "Best Practice" supply planning processes to maximize customer service, minimize costs, and optimize inventory.
  • Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives related to finished goods replenishment, inventory management, and system utilization.
  • Data Analysis: Use supply chain data and analytical tools, including SAP and Business Warehouse, to make informed planning decisions.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share ideas, knowledge, and best practices to improve logistics and supply chain processes and solve problems effectively.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or a related supply chain function.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced Excel skills.
    • Proficiency with Google tools.
    • Experience with S4/HANA - APO.
    • Knowledge of Macros is a plus.
  • Attributes:
    • Strong alignment and anticipation of risks.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
