Position Purpose:

 

The CBS Jr. Payroll Team Lead will have direct oversight to the management of the day to day  payroll activities at the Colgate Business Services (CBS). This position will play a key role in representing the CBS Payroll team in payroll related projects and will be working directly with HR and Finance leaders. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide oversight and direction to the CBS Payroll team daily activities.
  • Responsible for reviewing the  payroll audit reports for accuracy 
  • Participate in key projects and initiatives by representing the CBS Payroll team.
  • Work closely with company stakeholders such as; Payroll  HR, & Finance.
  • Supports internal and external audits including SOX review and testing.
  • Monitor’s 3rd party transmission activity to identify issues and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Support tax reporting requirements.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree. 
  • At least 3 years of experience working on MX payroll including: multi-state, compliance requirements, federal/state/local regulations, leading practices.
    • End to end process is preferred.
  • Experience in preparing salary and benefits budgets and updating them throughout the period.
  • Explanation of deviations from actual vs. estimated figures, and the impact on P&L
  • Database management for monthly information analysis for issuing reports and presentations to the companies' financial statements
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Intermediate- Advanced English level
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management Customer service focused
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Requires excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-resolving skills.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
