The Collections & Deductions Analyst will focus specifically on customeraccount collections for past due amounts and focus on escalating and clearing deductions related to Gross to Net promotions, pricing and inventory
adjustments:
Collections responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Obtaining overview of customer account balances
● Generating past due notices to customer
● Contacting customers for payment and documenting their response
● Escalating collection issues to Local C2C and/or Sales
● Assessing and recommending escalated issues for write offs
● Generating and preparing periodic statements for customers
● Monitoring customer performance vs. payment commitments
Deductions responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Monitoring deductions assigned through the worklist
● Notifying CDT (Sales) and Local finance via workflow of customer issues o
for missing credit memos
● Communicating open deductions by running periodic reporting to Local
Teams
● Communicate Month End Results to Local Team
● Reviewing customer deductions, contacting the customers or Local Teams
to get further details related to the open deduction in order to identify the
deduction type
● Notifying CDT (Sales) and Local finance via workflow of customer issues o
for missing credit memos
● Clearing credit notes and associated dispute cases
Escalating deduction issues to Local C2C and/or Sales

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economy, Business Administration or related field

  • At least 1- 2 years of relevant experience in credit to cash or customer service

  • Excel,Google collaborative tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides, AODocs, etc)

  • Basic knowledge of the Order to Cash process, banking and payment transactions, Financial Statements and financial ratios 

  • Proficiency in English

 

Preferred requirements

  • Previous experience in call center operations with similar position as credit to cash analyst (desirable)

  • Prior experience in a Customer Service environment (desirable)

  • Proficiency in French (desirable)
