As the Customer Development Specialist, Oral Care on the Target team, you’ll be at the heart of our operations — using data, crafting compelling narratives, and delivering insights to propel our omnichannel business forward with Target. In this role, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team that is passionate about driving growth for our strong Oral Care brands.
What you will do:
- Data & Analytics Champion: Integrate and synthesize multiple data sources to compile brand and category overviews, evaluate promotions and sales, and manage business fundamentals with various tools. Analyze and transform data into clear, actionable insights, develop compelling stories and present findings to inform customer recommendations and strategic planning.
- Trend Tracker: Stay ahead of market dynamics by closely monitoring retail trends, conducting regular retail audits, and tracking competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities for our brands.
- Dot Connector: You love to decipher the “why” behind the data and trends. You can connect the dots between various data points and turn them into actionable insights.
- Team Player: You understand the power of collaboration and communication, and thrive on building strong relationships both within the organization and with Target. You’ll participate in Oral Care line reviews, business reviews, and strategy meetings. You’ll work closely with our cross-functional teams including supply chain, shopper insights, shopper marketing, retail marketing and ecommerce to drive our omni business.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years' professional working experience (CPG preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Sales, Marketing, and eCommerce
- Experience working in consumer product goods
- Experience working with a syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI) account
- Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs)
- Comfortable with managing in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $75,000.00 - $93,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
