Role & Responsibilities

How does this role fit in? The opportunity exists to be the Insights & Analytics Manager in the Western Europe Hub. As a part of the I&A team in EU Division and Marketing team in the Western Europe Hub, the I&A Manager is responsible for connecting insights dots and engaging and collaborating with Consumer Experience Director and Hub GM as a strategic partner

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead Business Intelligence and Insights to drive business growth & MKT strategy, specifically on:

    • Business performance tracking, reporting and visualization of data, including retail audit, Panel, brand tracking, etc. 

    • Business diagnosis, including portfolio management, RTM & execution optimization

    • Growth strategy via strategic multi-source synthesis 

    • Pulse of local trends and market evolvement

    • Advance analytics tools implementation from data to business action, including MMM, RGM, Forecasting.

    • Insights to enable activation of innovation and creative/content

    • Empowering people centricity

    • Insights to enable the omnichannel, and shopper understanding

    • Competitor watch 

  • Be strategic partner in hub to navigate performance understanding, business planning, development and implementation

  • Enable the data-driven decisions via influential & impactful insights & implications

  • Connect the dots on  the market intelligence, insights and foresights as well as Division led initiatives

  • Lead on local specific topics exploratory & incubation

  • Organize training and sharing for local I&A as well as business teams

  • Connect & design I&A plan and budget by understanding business needs & gaps

  • Effectively manage vendor/agency relationships to establish win-win business partnerships

  • Support consumer affairs specialist linking them to Consumer Experience team and wider business

What we ask:

  • Strong data analytical skills, ability to tell compelling story with data 

  • Strategic thinking - able to connect dots to fully navigate the brand growth strategy

  • Solid research foundations - on traditional methodologies as well as exploring new capabilities

  • Good experience with data  visualization tools- ideally Looker, Domo

  • Advocate of data driven decision making, people centricity & forward looking -

  • Ability to articulate, communicate and collaborate effectively across  business teams

  • Stakeholder management - able to challenge status quo yet navigate the alignment with team members across levels including senior stakeholders

  • Bonus capability if anything related marketing, innovation launch or digital/ec operation experience

  • FMCG industry experience, either inhouse or with analytics, research, media agency beneficial

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in analytics and insights including new methodologies and tool kits
