The North America Demand Planner Category Lead for Oral Care will lead and oversee the demand planning process, ensuring the preparation, alignment, and communication of a comprehensive and accurate Category Demand Plan with a planning horizon of current year + 1.
The Demand Planner Category Lead has a holistic view of demand planning activities, overseeing the development, alignment, and communication of the demand plan for the entire category including all subcategories and sub brands within. He or She will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to synthesize inputs, align strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. In addition to managing demand and fulfillment planners, the Demand Planner Category Lead will act as a key liaison between commercial teams and the broader supply chain, contributing to the overall success of the category.
Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and leadership for the entire category demand planning.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align demand planning goals with broader business objectives.

Foster strong collaboration with commercial teams, including sales, marketing, and customer engagement/collaboration, to gather comprehensive customer plans and demand inputs.

Drive the measurement, reporting, and continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and bias at both the consensus demand plan and monthly item-location level.

Proactively identify and address potential upside-downside demand risks through leveraging customer and sales intelligence data. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Lead efforts to synchronize the final demand plan with the supply plan, addressing demand risks and opportunities arising from supply chain constraints.

Oversee cross-functional collaboration for finalizing pipeline volume and the first 6 months of demand for new products.

Lead the post launch analysis of the new SKUs after 3 months of actual shipments. Manage and communicate SKU performance and life cycle changes in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, statistics, economics, engineering or similar field.

7+ years of experience in demand planning or related fields.

Extensive understanding of supply chain management challenges with the ability to create scenarios and present trade offs.

Advanced proficiency in utilizing data for strategic decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications

MBA or Master's degree in a related field

Knowledge of integrated business management processes (S&OP, inventory reviews) and tools (SAP, APO, IBP, Kinaxis).

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Domo, Looker Studio, SQL, Appscript, and language models.

People management experience a plus
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
