Role: SAP Manufacturing & Integration Consultant

Role Summary: This is a hybrid Technical-Functional role designed for a consultant who sits at the intersection of Manufacturing Operations and Modern Technology. You will not only configure SAP PP/QM/PM but also architect the "connective tissue" between SAP and external ecosystems (e.g., AGVs, Kinaxis, MES, or IoT sensors). You are responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle: from understanding a shop-floor requirement to designing the API/Middleware interface that fulfills it.

Refined Key Responsibilities

  • System Orchestration: Design and implement seamless integrations between SAP S/4HANA and 3rd party platforms (Kinaxis, MES, Warehouse Automation/AGVs) using SAP BTP, APIs, and OData services.

  • Process Engineering: Translate complex manufacturing workflows (Discrete/Repetitive) into technical logic, ensuring data integrity across distributed systems.

  • Technical Build & Debug: Act as a hands-on lead for ABAP debugging and Fiori enhancement, ensuring custom developments do not compromise core system performance.

  • Modern Support: Manage the Production environment with a "DevOps" mindset, utilizing GIT for version control and ensuring high availability for mission-critical manufacturing interfaces.

  • Strategic Roadmap: Advise the business on moving from legacy middleware to modern integration suites (e.g., SAP Integration Suite/GCP) to support "Industry 4.0" initiatives.

Enhanced Qualification Requirements

  • The "Hybrid" Core: 5+ years of experience where you have personally configured SAP PP/QM and participated in the technical design of interfaces (IDOC, ALE, RFC, or REST/SOAP).

  • Integration Fluency: Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) or SAP PI/PO. Knowledge of how to connect SAP to external "Edge" devices or Cloud Planning tools (Kinaxis/IBP).

  • Technical Depth: Strong ABAP Debugging skills are mandatory; the ability to read/trace code to identify root causes in complex integrations is vital.

  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of the "Digital Thread"—how a Material Master change in SAP impacts a Kinaxis forecast or an AGV's pick-list.

  • Data Standards: Familiarity with JSON, XML, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., MQTT or OPC-UA) is a major advantage.

Our Commitment to Inclusion
Our journey begins with our people—developing strong talent with diverse backgrounds and perspectives  to best serve our consumers around the world and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging. We are dedicated to ensuring that each individual can be their authentic self, is treated with respect, and is empowered by leadership to contribute meaningfully to our business.
