Role Summary

The Transfer Technology Engineer drives the execution of technology transfer protocols, process validation, and formula modifications to ensure seamless product implementations in the manufacturing plant and at contract manufacturing sites. This role plays a pivotal part in scaling innovations, upholding strict quality standards, and safeguarding product integrity across the supply chain. By bridging the gap between product development and full-scale production, this position offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful process improvements and bring market-ready formulas to life. The primary objective of this role is to successfully validate and implement product transfers on schedule while ensuring total compliance with corporate quality standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Technology Transfer & Validation Protocols: Direct the formal technology transfer process and execute corporate Process Validation (PV) protocols for new formulas, raw material changes, and contract manufacturer operations, delivering complete documentation including EMO Reports, Start-Up Reports, e-TT Checklists, MOCs, and Batch Cards.

  • Manage Plant Operations & Documentation: Author and update critical manufacturing documentation—including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Sheets, and recipes within PDM—and facilitate comprehensive operational training for plant personnel on new or modified processes.

  • Drive Process Capability & Quality Standards: Partner with Process Engineers to analyze process capabilities, improve key performance indicators (KPIs), and meet target Formula FTG goals while maintaining full compliance with quality standards.

  • Support Quality Master Plan Initiatives: Actively contribute to Quality Assurance execution by participating in internal audits, evaluating aesthetic samples across the product lifecycle, and investigating consumer complaints related to formulation issues.

  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Engage with internal business partners—including Marketing, Procurement, and Plant Operations —and participate in Go-To-Market meetings to ensure seamless project timelines, qualify new raw materials and suppliers, and align business priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Chemist, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering field
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes and engineering
  • Proven experience writing and updating plant documentation, such as SOPs, Quality Sheets, and manufacturing master recipes/PDM
  • Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Minitab
  • Google Suite experience
