Job Summary:
The Project Engineer is responsible for evaluating, planning, developing and implementing Capital Investment Projects in the manufacturing / plant areas to meet the stakeholders, processes requirements, including the option evaluations, generation of technical specifications and definition of the scope for purchasing equipment and facilities. Develop drawings and installation arrangements until their approval, follow-up the shipping and customs of equipment, mechanical and electrical installation, field supervision of the facilities, generation of acceptance parameters and control variables, training of personnel, testing of acceptance and until the validation is done and financial closure of the project.
Principal Responsibilities:

Develop project management methodology; project definition, project planning, capital expenditure management of capital projects.

Support the design, specification, installation, start up, troubleshooting, and improvement of equipment and systems.

Develop and maintain specifications and technical documentation for processes and equipment which are consistent with Factory Performance and Reliability goals and support Quality and Safety Standards.

Develop new insights and drive innovative engineering and processing solutions to reduce costs and improve process capability and quality.

Engage stakeholders in design decisions to ensure projects satisfy quality, cost, service, and environmental health and safety criteria, and manage third party contractors and engineering design firms effectively.

Drive the company values and principles of managing with respect in all daily business affairs.
Job Functions:

Plan, develop and implement all the CEB projects for the plant/area (Include follow up meetings)

Prepare and validate specifications for new equipment
-
Prepare for new equipments the Design Assessment requirements (DQ), Installation Assessment (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) according to the Corporate Quality Standard, FP&R and EHS.

Prepare and participate in MYR and COS meetings regarding to capital investment.

Submit CEB information on Capital Management System

Follow up project routing status on Capital Management System

Follow up, control and report timetable of the assigned projects
-
Follow up, control and report Cashflow of the assigned projects

Elaborate MOC´s. Ensure that all plant changes, which could impact facility EHS compliance, must be documented (MOC) prior to initiation of the change.

Research new technologies, equipments and utilities optimization and attend suppliers
-
Provide technical support to people managed
-
Elaborate Change Controls as required.

Attend Weekly Focus Factory Meeting

Attend Engineering Department Meeting
-
Support EHS, Quality and FP&R audits as required according to position.

Close EHS, Quality and FP&R findings as required according to position.

To elaborate and follow Downpayment requests

Field supervision and ensure the quality and acceptance parameters of the assigned projects

Elaboration of project capitalization formats and financial closure

Accomplish with the Management System of Safety and Health at Work "SGSST" as required according to position.
Position Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and methodical individual with understanding of engineering principles. They must be able to work collaboratively with various teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or a related field).
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a project management roles, manufacturing environment and leading infrastructure projects

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with cross-functional teams.
