The Financial Executive is responsible for providing financial leadership and decision support to the Marketing, Supply Chain, and Plant Operations teams. This role drives financial performance for Plant and Product Supply Operations by leading key initiatives to achieve plant KPIs, improve cost efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.
 

Key Responsibilities

 

Financial Close & Reporting

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for Plant and Supply Chain.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, P&L variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and SOX requirements.

 

Costing & Plant Performance

  • Manage the closing process for production costs and Cost of Sales.
  • Control variable costs and non-variable overheads.
  • Analyze price variances, manufacturing variances (scrap, yield), and margin performance.
  • Provide insights on cost trends and their impact on profitability.

 

Business Partnering

  • Provide financial support to Supply Chain, Logistics, and Marketing.
  • Perform cost simulations and financial evaluations for new products and sourcing changes.

 

Cost Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the plant’s savings (FTG) initiatives by evaluating cost-reduction and efficiency projects.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce production costs and losses.
  • Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement projects.

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain environments.

 

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Google Workspace, and SAP.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations. (Desirable)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Advanced English (Written and spoken)
