This person is responsible for ensuring that credit policies are followed for our Customers, providing financial support to the sales team regarding the management of their Customers' Accounts Receivable and regarding  situations where they require guidance from the Finance side to resolve payment situations. Additionally, this person must work together with the sales controlling team to resolve Accounts Receivable dispute cases focused on improving account receivables KPIs to be in accordance with Company objectives, Colgate's Financial Policies and guidelines.

Main tasks: Accounts Receivable Management by Customer and Channel, monthly follow-up of aging report items, validation of Accounts Receivable reserves according to policies, quarterly calculation of bad debts,when required training new Sales executives regarding their management behind accounts receivable administration, daily control release of sales orders once credit risk has been validated, calculate and monitor the Customer's credit limit, support meetings with Customers and visits and also month-end closing activities, among others.

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Administration, Accounting, Engineering or related
  • At least 1+ year of experience in Finance 
  • English - Intermediate / Advanced (written and spoken) 
  • Excel - Intermediate / Advanced 

 

It is desired: 

  • Experience in credits and collections or similar 
  • DOMO, Python, Power BI
  • Experience in consumer goods industries 
  • Google toolbox
