Job Description for SAP LE WM EWM Analyst

 

Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :

 

  • Understand and apply Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities.

  • Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve highly complex business processes and procedural problems.

  • Manage and/or perform the design, build and testing of business applications and its architecture in line with agreed time frames, business requirements and global standards.

  • Maintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of IT standards and governance processes.

  • Review program codes and suggest corrections in case of any errors.

Responsibilities :

  •  Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA.

  • Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to align with governance practices.

  • Collaborate with the business / functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of project.

  • Mentor and coach junior developer resources.

  • Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes.

  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancement.

  • Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can contribute to the business.

 

Required  Qualifications :

 

  • Graduate Engineer with 5+ yrs of Experience.

  • Hands on experience in SAP Warehouse Management, Extended Warehouse Management & Logistic Execution.

  • Hands on experience or knowledge of Warehouse Management (Central, decentralize, extended) in batch, handling unit managed scenarios.

  • Should have One End to End Implementation experience in required area.

  • Maintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and governance processes.

  • Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA.

  • Apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to seek highly complex business processes and procedural problems.

  • Maintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and governance processes.

  • Collaborate with business and functional teams, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.

  • Ensure proper documentation of processes, knowledge acquisitions and transfers.

  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can add value to the business.

 

Preferred Qualifications :

 

  • Should be able to work independently in the required area.

  • Should have knowledge of the Integration with Other SAP Modules.

  • Should have experience in managing the Queues.

  • Should have basic knowledge of Debug Skill.

  • Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve problems logically.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify root cause.

  • Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies.

  • Hands-on experience in Warehouse Management, Embedded Extended warehouse management, Decentralized Extended Warehouse management and logistics and its Integration with other Production Planning, Quality Management, batch management & material management.

  • Knowledge/ Hands on experience of SAP Logistics execution (outbound, inbound delivery, shipment cycles) in batch managed scenarios.
