About The Role

As Retail Category Analyst for Argentina you will mission of the position is to achieve category advisor-ship / expert status with our customers the CatMan Expert is responsible to develop and deliver the Retail Category Development Services to our customers:


1. Category knowledge
2. Category optimization
3. Joint category planning


Is also responsible to build and disseminate Category Knowledge and to drive retail category focus within the commercial team. The role requires a strong understanding of the shoppers in different RE’s across the category. The CatMan Leader needs to identify category business challenges within RE’s and for priority customers, and develop shopper based solutions. Close relationships with Insight, Marketing, RE Managers, CDTs, Finance, CS&L will be essential to success in this role.

 

What You Will Do

  • Capture and document customers’ category strategies and critical metrics (for 2-way customers)

  • Develop local e-guidebook for the prioritized categories; consolidate Consumer & Shopper knowledge and retail trends in a Category Story, bringing to bear eGuidebook

  • Work with Insight team to develop the insights and opportunity. Work with RE Managers, Marketing and Insights team to ensure allocation of resources / budget.

  • Develop retail category strategy (using the Category Strategy blueprint)

  • Coordinate cross-functional team to develop category solutions (e.g. Shopper programs, potential breakthrough initiative)

  • Build category knowledge bundle for internal use (incl. CP Category Strategies)

  • Responsible for the quality of CP’s Category Review process and output

  •  Develop Category based plan by RE for customers’ presentation

 

What You Need (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related

  • Between 2 and 3 years in category management, trade marketing and/or retail marketing
  • Experience in the massive consumption industry is a must
  • Analysis Tools management as Kantar, Nielsen Reports and Spaceman
  • Advanced English Level
