We are looking for a Junior Customer Development Manager to join our Sales Team for our site in Brussels, Belgium. As a Junior Customer Development Manager you are responsible for building strong engagement by developing and implementing Joint Business Plans with Key Customers; conduct effective negotiations to implement Terms and Conditions aimed at achieving profitable growth for Colgate-Palmolive and her customers. In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Customer Development Manager.

 

What you'll do

Every day is different, but below is a sample of what you will experience and expect to accomplish:

  • Managing and growing business with key customers as well as full P&L responsibility for the accounts

  • Building and maintaining excellent client relations

  • Identifying & prioritizing business opportunities

  • Proposing and implementing adequate plans to tackle business opportunities and to offset potential risks and challenges

  • Creating forecast projections and reports in collaboration with marketing, finance and logistics

  • Ensure excellent 5P execution at your accounts, in close coordination with the Category and Marketing Teams

  • An optimist in action with an eagerness to learn and develop new skills

  • You have a Master Degree, preferably in a commercial / marketing / financial field 

  • Fluency in Dutch and English - as well as a strong level of French

  • You have a first successful FMCG experience or equivalent

  • Analytical - we’re a very data driven company. Knowing how to translate data into simple solutions with an analytical approach is essential. Experience and familiarity with market research or analysis tools (e.g. Nielsen) is a plus 

  • Service and results oriented with a focus on creating long term client relationships

  • A competitive attitude that translates in growing the business

  • You don’t get easily stressed by pressure, a fast paced environment and balancing different priorities at the same time is what keeps you energized
