Overview

As an Oral Care Consultant, you would be part of our dynamic and fast paced Marketing Team. Key responsibilities include: developing and implementing the marketing plans that will establish and maintain current and long-range vision for the brand(s) to increase sales, margin and profitability for the brand(s).

 

Core responsibilities include:

Territory Management

  • Manage key dental accounts and monitor sales performance.

  • Implement specific brand sales strategies for the channel as directed by the Sales Manager

  • Deliver budgeted sales and growth targets through active management of Accounts, Analytics of sales information provided and successfully launching NPD.

  • Other touch points - Digital promotional emails, Virtual training/detailing  .

  • Monitor, develop and maintain broad distribution of Colgate’s range of Professional Oral Care products within assigned Territory.

  • Provide NSM with information on key business matters such as market insights, competitor activity, product complaints, and feedback from the Profession.

  • Develop effective Professional relationships with the dental profession, including Dentists, Therapists, Hygienists, OHT’s, Dental Assistants and Distributors.

  • Attend and participate at conferences including industry conferences as required.

  • Input data gathered in the field into the professional oral care database C4C.

 

Detailing.

  • Promote Colgate Oral Care products, their features and benefits, highlighting all pertinent selling points through consultative selling.

  • Enhance image of Colgate as a leading scientific and technology expert in Oral Care using APEX Skills.

  • Drive awareness of recommendations for Colgate range.

  • Conduct market research and assist market testing new products where appropriate.

  • Report any Adverse Event on Colgate Products they may become aware of as part of their contacts with dentists, hygienists, area health authorities, pharmacists, hospitals and dental hospitals or others, according to Colgate Vigilance Guidelines

 

Engagement with Distribution Partner.

  • Assist distributor sales personnel in their selling efforts, including co-calling with representatives, working together for best outcomes.
